Hey guys,

Anyone out there breed zebra plecos? I am looking for a new breeding project and beautiful asset to my 45 gallon tank.. Now I know how much they go for, but Im not willing to pay $800 bucks for a group.. But if anyone out there is breeding them and is generous to start me off with maybe a trio or up to 5 for a lower price let me know! Thank you! The hunt begins!

if its not on mfk most likely its not in season or may have been included in the ban list. so my suggestion to you is, try to find a local breeder online. if somebody does have it chances are they arent gonna let it go due to the rarity. so at this point try google to find breeders. GL with the find.

Thanks! Yea thats partly what I was assuming, and I may have actually found a local breeder.. But until that is guaranteed, I am still gonna search

Thats way too much.. Just found a local selling for $60 a piece. Nice generous guy that really cares about the hobby

If that is true L46 for $60 a piece, jump on it. They are much more than than (even at 1.5")

300+ for a zebra is way overpriced in my opinion. unless you have the money to support that hobby. if you find one for 60 thats like buying a ferrari for like 100 dollars. so id say pay as much as you can. but minimum ive see was about 150-180 a piece.
