Zebrina group on the way

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I think they still have a couple winemilleri that I brought in. They also should have my wild angels.

Also, they had some heckelli.

Left captain nemos with some danios. No way was I paying $70 for for the geophagus you brought them. They look good though. I'm just going to place some outkast centrals in there with them

Usually, if you ask for a deal, they'll give you one.

Those were purchased from snookn21

Those Zebrina are beautiful. I prefer to buy my pikes smaller also. Price obviously but they also grow quicky, so it doesn't take long before they hit full maturity. I've seen more adult pikes who looked like crap then good and at the higher price its just not worth it in my opinion. I currently have a 10 inch Atabapo 1 and a 7 inch Lent...I'm hoping to get a Crenicichla jegui (small head one) soon. Nothing like Pike cichlids...they are just amazing. If you get yours to breed...I'll make sure I hit you up ;)

Glad everyone's catching pike fever about time! Lol

For dithers if aggression starts to get REALLY bad I'd pick up 7-9+ sveni or belly crawlers too large to be swallowed and through em in the mix. That way aggression is spread out. I'm about to do that soon actually when the pikes all go together

Ok so I came home and found the kind of smaller zebrina with his/her fins torn up. I scooped her out and put her in a 75 with some 3" grammodes. Until she puts some size on and can feel confident again I will keep her separated. I put a 5" Wild trimac male and a 4" wild loiselli male in the 265 gal with the remaining 3 zebrina. And man it was a sight to see these zebrina are no joke yo. They are feisty and they are very territorial. They started fighting the trimac but both cichlids held there ground like I knew they would.
