Zebrina group on the way

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I have a ton of driftwood. In my 265 and going to add some blackwater extract for some trace elements and some peat in a aquaclear 110 filter. So I will have the tank tea colored but still with a light so I can view them. This will be a great experience.

Thanks guys. Will they be ok in my tap? pH comes to just under neutral.

I had to cave once I saw the prices. Last year they were 600-800.

Wetspot has them for 400 now. Jeff is giving discounts...it just works out.

They looked at the NLS like hell no lol but I added danios and they all went nuts. I have them in clean plain old tap water but tomorrow will be my first water change about 70 gallons of RO they are in my 265 gal by themselves lol they probably think there back home with all the space.

I saw that thread but yet another source from a guy that bred several lugubrious types tells me that they're a black water pike... Says they're also found in the rio atabapo.

Who is the source. 1 thing I can say is that this section of mfk needs to tighten up and we need to stick together and put as much info on habitats breeding etc.... More people would be into these fish if there were tons of info to read like CA SA cichlids and other types of fish also George from shark aquarium doesn't think these came from ventuari. But he also said he wasn't sure. His supplier also sent them from bogata Columbia. So who really knows. Word is they could have came from Atabapo or ventuari.
