Why do you keep saying Opinion. Its not my opinion just the facts that we know.

I'm not referring to the entire altercation as none of it matters except the moment of the shooting. The gunshot expert believes the shot was fired upward from below and at very close range with Martin bent forward over Zimmerman which is consistent with Zimmerman's story. Zimmerman's injuries, the stains on the two men's clothing and the witness testimony all place Martin on top of Zimmerman striking him repeatedly in the face, again consistent with Zimmerman's story.

Yes, i mean Barbarism in a negative way, of course. It is a scourge that is poisoning us all, due to the climate of panic people live in.

If you are empowered by superior force, such as a gun, you should be extra carefull in handling a situation. That is why in Europe it is so difficult to get a permit.

And i do not escape such barbarism, unfortunately. Someone kills one my kids ( and the issue leading to that is not perfectly clear in my mind and heart ) that someone ( as well as I ) is out of the picture.

I'm not saying barbarism isn't a bad thing just trying to reconcile that with your use of the term "deserved beating" in regard to a situation that at that point is as clear as mud to everybody except GZ

The kid was being followed right? The Zimmmermann guy accosted him, may have offended the kid or made him feel like a hoodlum. Kid reacted.

Perhaps deservedly is not tne best word, but i surmise the kid must have felt threatened.

And now we're fully into opinions. One could just as easily surmise that Zimmerman feared for his life otherwise he would not have shot Martin. You assume a 17 year old man (not a particularly rational stage in the life of most men, myself included) acted, or overreacted, to some provocation rationally but assume the worst of the other man without evidence suggesting that either man was initially the aggressor

I admit it is my opinion.

On the other hand, there is no way that guy would walk, in western europe.
