Agreed. I will refrain from the logistics though of how zombies would undoubtedly add to the cause global warming :)
touche! i would add this to my sig but there is no way i could show why this is so funny to me

just remember guys, swords dont need reloaded;)

I like the whole World War Z zombie setup, for it seems really plausible. Also the in 28 weeks later they are really just rabid to the extreme also in zombie land. They are still physically human due to not dieing.

I am a fan. have several on DVD.

Shaun of the Dead -very good, lots of homages to other z flicks
Fulci's Zombie - the one with the famous shark vs zombie underwater scene.
loved 28 days later.

haven't seen 28 weeks later yet (but I will one day lol)

also have Return of the Living Dead on DVD - this was really well done.

28 days and weeks or whatever were 2 of the best dry no bs zombie movies I ever saw. The eye gouging was stupid to me but whatever. Is thier any other movies like those 2 that even compare at all or no way. Please give me some good news. Also never heard of the Z one you mentioned.

The fast zombies scare the **** out of me much more than the slow ones. While the slow ones are more realistic given some of the origin premises I understand why alot of people find them more believable. I just fail to see the extreme threat of the slow zombies vs the fast ones, especially given the availability of firearms and automobiles in our society. Overall , given the horror tradition of zombie movies, I prefer the fast zombies because they're down right frightening.

Well if u ingest the blood then yes i think thats fine but idk about jsut gettin the blood on u...if it gets in ur body then its cool but just on u is so stupied... and if there was a apocalypse I WLD PWN THEM ALL i have read the zombie survival guides and watched all zombie movies!!!! I wish zombies outbreaks wld happen once before i die! it wld be so cool!!!

Oh and yes someone deranged wld run like crazy but i doubt decayin zombies cld run due to lack of oxygen to the muscles to keep them goin and the fact that they wld probly have there leg muscles rlly beat bad from bites and etc.

I could discuss zombies for hours! But I'll refrain. I actually like them both, fast and slow. In my opinion there are no bad zombie movies (once you become a b movie fanatic, theres no going back). I read a rumor on io9.com that there is a zombie television show in the works based off of romeros work, and to settle the question for them, they are going to have fresh zombies (recently turned) able to move quickly, and decomposed zombies shamble. Makes sense to me, the more muscle/tendon/flesh/limbs/etc are missing, the slower they'll go.

28 Days/Weeks Later is NOT a zombie movie. They are infected with the Rage virus. They can die by just shooting them a lot not in the head like zombies. Zombies cannot run, they are dead tissue and the only thing that is alive is the brain, so rigamortus(sp?) still sets in and makes it harder for them to move. Romero is a god amongst zombie directors. I can go on and on about zombies I am what you would call a zombie purist. The remake of Dawn of the Dead was just bad.

Wow, I thought it was a pretty freakin sweet movie. The fact, again, as I already stated, I could just merely jog away from my zombie pursuers????? In my opinion the remake of dawn of the dead is probably the best/ most terrifying zombie movie. REC had some fast zombies as well. 28 days/ weeks later could have been good with a better plot/ script.

Diary of the Dead was a good movie, but I'm not remembering walking away terrified, or with a complete sense of hopelessness as I did with Dawn to Dead.

Many books give explanations as to why zombies last longer than a few days weeks. The Zombie Survival Guide, Armageddon Day by Day, .... can't remember if Worls War Z gave any info on that subject.

There has to be some type of preservation from the virus/ us nuking them ect otherwise you would have a total stiff body in 48 hrs. They wouldn't be walking ... period, lock jaw would give them problems with the whole biting issue.

Speaking of biting I would think being eaten alive by humans would be one of the worst ways to go considering our jaw and teeth.
