Zombie movie/ book fans

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
i'm a zombie fan also but i kind of always criticized how zombies work. let me ask this:

1. How come zombies dont' eat eachother?
2. How do they know who's human and who's undead?
3. If they were dead, how come they need to feed?
4. Do they actually starve to death if they don't feed?
5. Why not go eat a bunch of animals or meat from a slaughter house or market?

and i'm more into the old skool zombies instead of the new stuff

One thing I have always wondered is how fast the eyes would decay out of the head of a zombie and if a zombie is guided by a sensing of life force in its food or what remains of the 5 senses.
I would imagine that the eyes if that is what they use for direction would be a very easy weak point. IF that was true I would most definitely have a super soaker filled with some chili oil or juice(which is very easy to make takes about 1/2 hr). I also wonder if pepper spray would work on them if they were using the eyes to guide, even further chili or pepper powder.
.

Personally, i theorize they use hearing more then anything else. Dead Bodies dont make tears neccesary for eye preservation. The nose, same thing you need mucous and other vicous liquids to cover the inside of nasal cavity for proper scent detection but i do believe they can sense very strong odors.

Want a good weapon? Take a garnden hoe and sharpen the blade with a file. Or take an army shovel and due the same. Personally my ideal zombie weapons would be 1. Crowbar, 2. WASR 10, 3. Garden Hoe, 4. 12 Guage, 5. Metal Baseball Bat

1&2. Zombies dont sound like people there vocal cords arent lubricated so they would have a very raspy moan. They also dont feel like people, much softer due to decay.
3. I theorize they only need enough calories to maintain brain and stomach. Which isnt alot if the other organs arent used.
4. If they didnt get enough calories to feed the brain the body decays at a faster rate due to cells being digested for energy. eventually they just fall apart.
5. They eat everything alive. They are indiscriminate predators.

1&2 you didn't answer #1 and I know there's the difference, but how do THEY know? and why not eat eachother???

3. that means they can eat plants also,............ but you never ever see them devouring anyone's garden

4. i guess so

5. do they? what movies showed this? and some even show zombie animals,............. how do they know the difference? howcome they don't eat other zombies? they only attack live humans,............

I like the slow ones. I mean the movie has to be totally different if their the running crazy fast zombies like they are in "I am Legend". Imagine in the zombies were slow, he would just be like stfu and hit one with a crowbar and take it home to study on it. And he would be on a bike when he was trying to get away from them. Not saying this movie sucked at all, because this was one of the best movies I've seen. But I prefer the slow (Resident Evil) zombies.

resident evil was ok, just the first one, then again,........... those the questions like in my previous post comes into play and it kind of ruins it for me

I am legend was a dissappointment to me. too many things wrong with it

I like all of Resident Evil's actually.

Personally, not being mean or anything and I get your reasoning. I've heard that if your thinking(as in why did this happen or this makes no sense kinda of thinking) during a movie then it's not really good. The movie should keep you in the loop just enough that you don't start thinking these things until the end or it's over.

But I've NEVER thought much during a movie so with that philosphy every movie is great. But like I said you do bring on some questions.

They recognise the difference between a living organisms noise production and a dead noise production.

True, let me say they are carnivores.

Read World War Z theres a lovely story about a Zombie trying to dig a small mole out of a whole.
The best theory i could give on Zombies not eating other zombies is that zombie flesh is toxic, and they realize this on an instinctual level.

Actually i thought they were automatons, that they would use scent to determine flesh, also quizlings are weird
