Yeah, agreed on the nunchaku, I've watched some demonstrations on them and they are pretty dang powerful, haha. Sais are pretty awesome too. Although, in terms of weapons, this would have to be my favorite:

Might not be as practical as a katana or something along those lines, but my personal preference is heavy club-type weapons.
As for training, that's pretty cool that you have places near you that offer weapons training. I've been trying to get into martial arts for awhile now, sadly I just have no free time. Mostly interested in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, muay thai, aikido, and kyusho. Just wish I wasn't so busy.
EDIT: Just realized how much of a derail this is, lol. More on-topic, zombieland is a great movie. Shows lots of inventive ways to kill zombies, haha.
