i put 2 slices of blanched zuchinni in my tank last night. it was still there in the morning. i am wondering why no-one ate it. any one have any ideas?

Was the zucchini in the same spot or a different spot in the tank? If it was in the same spot, then remove it and try again another night. If the zucchini was in a different spot, the zucchini may have been carried by the current every time the fish tried to get close to it. Blanched zucchini will sink, but is sometimes, sort of buoyant enough to easily be moved by the slightest current.
Also try skipping a day of feeding, before feeding the zucchini. It's good practice to skip a day or 2 of feedings anyway to clean out the fishes system.

maybe they don't like it? the fish should have smelt it out within a few hours, never mind a full night. why not try cucumber?

it was in the same place this morning as it was when i put it in.

i have 2 clown plecos. i forget the L#. do they eat zuchinni? what do you use to weigh it down? i couldnt think of anything, so i just stuck a fork in it.
give it anither shot and try stuffing some pellets into the zucc. thats how i got my rhino and clown to start eating it. Iuse a fork to weigh it down.
