In that link it mentions the third step of Stone Effects as a suitable sealer for a plywood tank?

Do you know anyone who has used this on a long-term basis? From what I can find it's just a single-compoent finish and not like a two-part epoxy.

But I also see that Rustoleum has purchased the product so they may have changed it.

that thread is old and needs to be updated there are 2 types of the stone effects the step 3 single is no good there is a 2 part epoxy that is fda approved and works fine but i personnaly would not use it again price per volume is a big issue with it.

planning a build using fiberglass as a base coat and finishing with a drinking water grade 2 part marine paint.

that tank ended up with the paint to be on the safe side.
