Looks like a perfect amount there to me. I covered the entire bottom of my plywood tank and over time it just got bunched up in certain areas from the rays attacking the front glass begging for food lol.
Been a while, there finally starting to lighten up for me now, very happy i went with torpedo beach, love the stuff and so do the rays.

Heres my fem "fishing" the other day...clever girl set a pretty good trap for the dithers using the powerhead to blow the small fish down into her "cup" lol...

Small update...female has grown alot since december when she came in. Light substrate is doin its job, shes colorin up nicely for me
