i would imagine he meant fed well. as in gave it a fair amount of food. i would imagine it to be hard to force feed a pleco. theyre hungary all the time anyway. if it was that badly treated, it wouldnt have got to 23" ;)
I feel alot better now thanks ...

By powerfed I mean fed VERY high quality, and high in protein foods. My friend fed his every 4 hours, on a wide variety of foods. This takes some serious dedication as he would do 100% waterchange every day, in 4 25% changes. It was in a 350 gallon tank with a 125 for a w/d. Powerfeeding plecs involves having a nearly constant supply of food available that are very nutritious.

Sorry about that, I guess when you think about that in the generic livestock term it sounds REALLY bad.

I did not think they would be power feeding Adonis because they wanted to eat it haha..but just because they wanted it to grow fast and be the biggest...

I'd say the one plec that is missing is either a leporacanthicus species or a pseudacanthicus species. I'd personally recommend a Sultan L264 or a three beacon L091 for the leporacanthicus, and for the pseuda, even though I don't particularly like them myself, a scarlet L025, or L024.

well i would say something really cool like L260s but i dont think they will be big enough. i think the L91 would be a nice idea though, id go with that over the L264s, but they are very reclusive. maybe a scobinancistrus aureatus, you can get them with the yellow spots and yellow or orange fins, both look great adults. thats my thoughts
