that is cheap. Is that retail rate or private sales? What's the price of rtg going for in UK?

People don't import many greens anymore as its not worth the time it takes with paperwork and very low mark up
RTG about £300-350
HBRTG £350-450
Xback £550 up to about £1000
Reds £550 up to about £1200
Larger fish don't sell as well or as fast as smaller ones
Even cheaper if you import yourself which isn't hard to the UK and import permit is free and takes about 2 weeks
If you import yourself
You can get HBRTG for about £150 with shipping and customs fees but you need a min of 6 fish and one box
I can see prices droping even lower within the next year as soooooo many have been imported within the last 18 months
Prices do go up a bit around Chinese New Year time

well i picked him up, he said he didnt know and id'ed it via google, he had a true black pacu and some other rare fish too that he was selling... the guy said he got him with a large tank off a member of his extended family whose boyfriend left her for another woman and left his tank behind during a bad break up. he is contacting her to try aquire the paperwork for me...

thanks t1k, im happy and will give him a good home, tank is 7x34in front to back and 2ft high, he is in with large cichlids that can hold their own so should be fine, i was looking for a jar anyhow. its 12 inches and a yellow tail i think after some googling...
fins are a little torn, should heal up in a few days... he is getting on great in the tank with no aggression so that good.
