breathing heavily after water change?

a little. I had to put them in the sand. but I do a little gravel vac on the sand every week I do water changes.
Check all your parameters if all in exceptical range, your fish will eventually start breathing normal again. If you are still uncomfortable add a oxygen source . I've had this happen to me after next day fish were fine.

parameters are all normal. air bubbler in tank along with a 90 gallon hang on the back filter agitating the water.

Well I fed it and it ate a bunch. If something was really wrong would it eat?

Do you have chlorinated tap water? Do you treat your tap water in the tank or before adding it?
