Thats a good indication that something might be happening in there that you dont know about. Be careful not to cause to much of a stir, and if you do, i would strongly suggest a large 30% water change or something
There were no problems before I bought a lunare wrasse about 3 weeks ago and he harassed this other wrasse alot to the point of exhausting him out and then he started hiding alot until where its at now
hmmm, quite the situation you have. did you move all the rock around?? my radiant will hide for about 3-7 days without food if he gets stressed, but always shows up fine.
Kind of funny to see you on my other post, as far as the paremeters havent checked since last weekend and my amonia was at .25 , nitrates- I think around 20, nitrites were high dont remember off hand, ph- 8.2
ammonia could be the culprit, or it could be caused by the missing fish. its hard to say. @ wrasses are not to much for a 150 but only as long as there compatible and they don't get 2 feet long lol.
doing my water change and lifted up all my rocks and saw no trace of it, my vitals are ammonia-.25, nitrites-.50, nitrates between 10 and 20 ppm , its must be disolving away in the sand by now!
