I agree that reloading is the best way to get the best round for your gun and application. But just something to think about, reloaded ammunition has been used as a prosecution point in self defense cases. Something along the lines of the person was looking to kill someone because they had tailored the ammunition for that purpose. Yes, that is ridiculous. Not trying to start a debate. Just something to think about.
Sorry, really not something I dwell on as it is such an asinine legal tactic that defeating it would take very little time and energy.

For you soviet enthusiast, check out how much they have M57 Tokarevs going for. I'm really tempted to order one.

The M57 is one of my main CC weapons next to a 1945 Tula TT-33. Word of warning on the M57 though, Most of these have very shot out barrels and I would highly suggest not obtaining one sight unseen. Classic arms is an excellent company and I've been using them for years but sometimes even their handpicks can be dogs. Regardless With Toks, it is pretty much a given the barrel will wear fast if regularly shot with factory loads (500 Rds will tear them up). It is wise to have a couple spares in the box to swap out. I usually have three... A practice barrel, a Target / SD barrel and a New in wrapper. Practice is shot out, Target / SD is broken in and the NIW is to replace the Target when needed.

Lots of hours stalking Gunbroker and Flea bay.. When new barrels pop up you just buy them. I've seen a few around as of late for the M57 that where taken from armorers kits.. They are out there you just need to be persistent.

I suck as I tend to have a bit of an advantage in knowing quite a few people in Serbia and Russia so I tend to get them from the source. When I'm looking I let them know and they tend to come through. Such connections are good in the East bloc firearms world.

:headbang2 In my book nothing is better than my tack driving S&W Model 28 .357 Just not good for CC, a lot of the time. But if we all went back to open belt wiled west days it would never leave my side.

Yea, I'd love a CC Kimber but I'd have to save up for some time to drop that kind of money, lol
