These are pretty long odds, but when you consider that any "odd" combination would be remarked on, all boys, boy girl boy girl, girl boy girl boy, etc etc, you could make this number a lot smaller!

I'm not saying that its not hormone related, ive got no idea, but its not beyond the realms of possability that it is random, crazier things have happened, and the odds arent too far against it.
Well, any combination has an equal chance of happening. I'll keep track of the next ratio, but I'm probably resting my females for 1/2 a year. :)

I have yet to have a male pup. 3 pregnancies, 4 pups, all female.

Just genetics and probability. Coincidence. There are lots if human families with 4 daughters and no sons. If you get to 20 female's and no males now then you'd have an anomaly. Still about 50% your next one is a male. Flip a coin enough and you'll get 4 tails in a row.
