What do you HATE that everybody else seems to LOVE in the hobby?

A friend of mine has one. It sits on the bottom 99% of the time, unless it's time to eat. As far as eating goes, it's about as exciting as a goldfish *nibble nibble tiny bite nibble*.

And before you mention water parameters and such, he's an extremely experienced fish keeper with gorgeous tanks. He loves the thing. I think it is ugly and boring.

than he has a lazy one. mine used to race around the tank. steal huge amounts of food from the peacock eel. it was a great fish. i want to get another and get it to death roll

I hate peacock bass, don't see the appeal. Maybe because I've never owned one, but I don't plan to.

LOL i hated i mean HATED peacock bass. I have 2 babies now and they have grown 2 inches in a month. I feed the crap out of them. They fight and are amazing fast, they fight like no fish ive ever seen tearing around in mini circles causing a blur. They can also stuff their mouth more than an oscar. I must say i fell in love.

mine have only been in my tank for 4 days and are already moving around almost constantly. and they dont nibble at all when they eat. they are only 3/5" but when they pick at the pellets they open their mouths up half wide and chomp pieces off the pellets. kinda reminds me of a snakes mouth
