BOWFIN!!! A WOOO WOOOOOOO!! That does it....when i come down to Louisiana with Magan to see her aunt we are gonna go bowfin fishing!! My tankz desire to keep bowfin!! If you catch any small ones hook me up, right here in Mississippi so i could totally meet you!!

I just moved here from hattiesburg last year. We went bowfin fishin today, slow day but we caught abot 12 bowfin and 3 or 4 gar.

School lab, all the bowfin are for a friends masters project.

Cut shad or live bluegill next to a weed line, look for the bowfin breaking the surface for best results.

Mostly light, but I always throw out a big bait on heavy gear.
