te - I agree that people should not sell fish as large as pacus without warning, and info etc of how bg they get. People just see these little piranha looking tetras selling for cheap and buy a few.

It goes to show though, you do need to research any fish you buy.

The same goes for people selling juvenile RTC's TSN's etc without warning.

I was half joking about eating them, but I think you need to find someone with a big tank or big pond, who likes pacus.
 
talked to my cuzin who owns a petshop here. i told him if he wants to buy or have a trade with my pacu's i said they were 6inchers and he freaked out coz he knows i have only 1 50g and thats for my FH he said dont tell me 4 pacu's in the 15 i said yes he said he'll talk to my uncle and auntie about making the trade or let him buy it.. im waiting for his call right now. i hope he gets my pacu's and put them in his big pond at the shop. and a good home for them too..
 
what can i put in a 15? im planning to get a 50 again but the 15 would be vacant. does a pair of convicts be good on a 15?
 
Try some rainbows, i know they get up to only 3" fully grown..real nice fish get 3-4 of them since they like to school and they go well with planted tanks i've heard..but research for yourself as i might be wrong so you'll know for sure;) ...goodluck bro and keep on MFK'in...:grinyes: :grinyes: :grinyes:
