Those rents are unreal!

Before we bought our house we rented a 3 bed/3 bath townhouse with garage, all utilities except phone and cable for $450 a month. That was with the $25 pet deposit! The landlords also did landscaping and snowplowing for us. One bed, one bath furnished appartments run about $275, un-furnished are $200, but they are really cramped.

The places in town start at $500 and go up to $800 near the university for a two bedroom. The only time rent hits $1000 or above are when it is for a five bedroom or a house in the rich part of town.

I heard the rents have gone up a bit now, though. That same townhouse we had is starting at $475 right now.

Of course good luck finding a decent job up here to pay any rent.

Here, the lfs, got in a newborn(still had yoksack), went for $20, then a 5-6" for $65, although, A store in the next city can get 6-8" silvers for $30.00

Went to a LFS on saturday, 7" silver aro's were $500 each and 8" birchir ornate(spelling:confused: ) were $650 each!

M|L, No Lie!! I have never been to Australia, But I would love to go. Alot of my college friends that did go, told me that alot of different types of "Pet Supplies" cost a "Hell of Alot More" than the U.S. markets! I quess its' the shipping of items to them and the currency trade.

Wow, By the way guys, What do you think of Queensland and Canes for Vacstion spots for me and my girl-friend to go too. Also, what is the best time of the year to go, just asking.....
