North Korea Test Fires Missiles

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
wow, so they expect us to pay them because they have better nukes? what do u think will happen mrpleco? will the bush administration try to appease n korea or will they try to end all the madness?

i'd like to hear anyones opinion on what could result, not only mrpleco. i gotta admit i know nothing about politics and the history of n. korea's missile development. my friend just told me about all this last nite! its good to hear all the stuff everyone out there knows about this kind of situation.

It's going to start an Asian arms race, it's good business:WHOA:

i say we just start nuking people

like Vitaly said. We don't go there because we can't. Same as Iran. WE didn't go to Iran because we couldn't handle it there either. Iraq was supposed to be a quick wash through and look at the mess we have there now. North Korea has one of the largest armies in the world. With the backing of Russia and China, they would wipe out everybody the U.S. sends over.

and I don't want to hear anybody use the stupid arguement that we should just nuke them. That may be one of the biggest hypocritical statements out there. If we attack North Korea then wouldn't that give them the right to nuke us in order to protect themselves?

I wasn't aware that they didn't have the guidance systems. But everything can be found if you offer the right price.

here's another blurb addressing guidance systems, July 6th 2006:

ALBANY, N.Y. A Chinese immigrant who works for the state Health Department faces federal charges alleging he bought flight guidance systems for China's military.

Today's Albany Times Union reports that 36-year-old Jun Wang has been indicted on two counts of conspiracy and arms trafficking in violation of federal export laws.

Authorities say the guidance systems Wang purchased from U-S defense contractors can be used to steer missiles, torpedoes and unmanned aircraft. The devices can't be legally exported to China without permission from the U-S State Department.

Authorities say Wang had the systems sent to his home in the Albany suburb of Guilderland and then mailed them to China.

State officials say Wang is a research scientist who works under a fellowship at a state Health Department building in Albany.
