I am working on something...similar.
Cutting out red meat except for stuff that I kill myself, or was organically farmed by someone I know. I also want to cut out all dairy products because cow farming (yes, Im from Wisconson) is so detrimental to the environment. I will start with organic milk and try to wean myself...but I love cheese, icecream, and milk too much.
Not eating any non-organic meat, and most of my meat will be farmed by me, or killed by me.
(The above two are by far the hardest to do.)
Right now on facebook I am starting my own wild foods blog...I go out and gather wild plants, (and animals too) and show people the best way to prepare them. Probably the most natural way of eating ever - and very easy to do once you learn what sort of plants you are searching for. (This can be hard until you learn them. Seeing plants in a book gives you a mental image of what they SHOULD look like...but as it turns out many plants are larger or smaller than you would expect in the wild)
Im interested in your diet...just to see how it goes for those who try it. Veggies are hard to squeeze carbs out of...I would know as a type one diabetic.
