what type of angels do you guys think would look the best? im thinking platinums based on the bright white illumination they give off. they would stand out from the background AND my controversial plants. Also, would it be dangerous to add a pair of Acarichthys heckelii "Threadfin Acara" along with the angels, since I have a good amount of money invested into my rummynose tetras, cardinal tetras and colombian red and blue tetras? If they're a risk I might just opt with the pair of festivums to go along with the angel pair.

PLatinum Angels are awsome with that kind of dark background...........The plants do "throw off" the elegance of the background.............Smaller plants, possibly pygmys in the forefront would of done it for me..........Two dozen Cardinal Tetra or Two dozen Rummynose Tetra would be fine because the red in their bodies bring out an awsome contrast to that setup you have...............The Tetra plus a breeding pair of Geohagus will be awsome in that sand setup...............You know you have to make use of that sand if it, right, Angels would not do it..........But if you do stay with Angels, then leave the tall Amazon in there for them to claim a breeding territory/nest.............
