Stocking a 300g 8Lx24Wx30H

umbee or dovii all the way if you want a solo or pair but if you want a community id do a freddy la ceiba pair and lyonsi pair with silver dollars
GT"S are agressive fish very infact, how ever mine are kept fairly tame by my JD i took my JD out my tank and all hell broke loose as she is the most dominent fish in the tank, it just depends on the individual fish, but i would not change my terrors for anything in the world they are great fish to look at, play with etc i love cleaning my tank as my terrors give me hell the whole time its like play time for them and then when its all done they sulk lol they"l eat from my hand they are just amazing fish,
Thats what i was thinking about doing like an umbee or dovii pair. But I feel like a 300g with to fish is kinda using a lot of space for 2 fish :/ I couldn't keep ANY other fish with those two as a pair right?
Not set on a cat but i got a rtc for free and wouldn't mind growing him out in there until he has to go in the pond. But im not at all set on cat.
Yea I was thinking about keeping my JD pair and going with something like this,
2 Jds (pair)
2 veija synspilum (pair)
2 Green terror (pair)
What else could i add to this list though. I really would like the umbee pair if i could put any other type of fish in there that they wouldnt bother :/. But also like the 3 pair i just listed but i feel like im missing something in that list..
in a 300 a dovii or umbee pair would take up that whole tank and be very happy im setting up a 8x30" for my solo male umbee right now. and even if it may seem like theres room in there they will most likely kill anything you try.
1 peacock bass, 1 arowana, 1 spotted/fla. gar, 1 bichir of your choice. ultimate monster tank imo
I know thats what i thought. I would really like the umbee pair. There probably my favorite fish but right now i only have two tanks 150g which i have 10 ornatum and some dithers trying to get a pair, and a 120g that houses my jds and im selling the 120 when i set up the 300g no room. I would like to have more of a varaity.. Love the umbee though

my umbee is the coolest fish ive ever had and ive had many fish in search of that perfect combo or solo fish and my umbee blows every other fish ive had outa the water. jist watch some vids of the general and hell decide for you lol. congrats on the big tank btw
