Most Attractive Female Species

Seemed like a fun thread idea.. My wife says if she started her own tank CA (including aggresive SA's), she would to do a female only tank. So the conversation began about species where the female looks better than the male. We're going on looks only here so the two obvious ones (IMO) are:

exCichlasoma festae
Parachromis motaguense

What other species do you guys think the ladies are more attractive? Post PICS too please!
 
I think Convict females look nicer than males.

I didn't even think of the Crenicichla side of the fence, good one Peter. Anything jump out at you? I always thought the males and females for the most part looked pretty similar.

Oh good one David! Sad truth: I've never owned a convict.. I have seen a lot of females I like though and your right on the females looking better than the males.

Justin and I had a pretty hilarious phone conversation about this tank he's thinking of setting up the other day. Too bad most of it isn't MFK appropriate. :)

I will do some more research on it for fun. Hard to think of some off the top of my head. There's a decent amount of CAs where the males don't look that different from the females (just get bigger) but "better looking" is another topic.

Oh another good point, the C. saxitilis group displays the pink, similar to female GBR. I forgot about that. I'm sure Chris will jump in soon :D

Yeah lets not bring that up lol! Think about it though if you set up a tank for smaller growing better looking females, that would be a pretty sweet tank IMO. Star is all about it right now so I want to jump on it while it's her idea. That and I want to hang on to a few extra female festae so I already have an excuse.
