TENECOR OUT OF BUSINESS!!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I've always thought Tenecor was high end and overpriced...I'm sold on Titan, for sure I'll hit them up for future custom tanks!

according to them..

1. you must sent the tank back at your expense...
2. if they chose to replace the tank... you have to pay the shipping for the replacement tank also....

So first you ship the tank at your expense (let's say $500 depending on where you are) and THEN they will decide if they will
replace it or not ? ...that makes total sense LOL

I'm SO happy I ordered my tank from Midwest. Top notch craftsmanship (no air bubbles at the seams), excellent communication and good price ( for the same setup Midwest @ 3/4" acrylic was 30% cheaper than tenecor @1/2" and about 250% cheaper on the stand)

And if they chose not to replace the tank? You just spent somewhere around $1000, depending where you're at, to and from to get your busted tank back or lose out on $500 and a tank by letting them keep it. That makes even more sense!

thats why i sold my "DOA" tenecor tank at a loss. just so im done with dealing with them. by the time i send my tank back, pay for shipping and pay for shipping for the new tank back to vancouver (which i was told), it would cost a lot more already than buying a new tank and waiting a LOT less time!!! tenecor took well over 3 months to send me the tank after payment. Titan Aquatic will took 3.5 weeks for the entire process. lol.

When I ordered my Tenecor tank many years ago...I do recall they were late with the shipping. Luckily that is the only problem I've ever had with it.

Can someone clear something up for me? Is there any connection I need to concern myself with that Tenecor is connected to Titan now? It's been running thru the grapevine, I don't want to start anything, but I don't want to get stuck with a bad tank. I know I could go with another company but that wasn't the point.

It seems that now, all of the sudden, fishtankdirect.com redirects its clients from tenecor to titan so you never know ...I hope not.

Holy fairy farts.. I have a tenor tank sitting in my house. I wasnt gonna fill it till I move. It looks completely fine. Now I'm really scared that when I move something will happen to it when I fill it. I really can't take it out of the house just to fill it. I don't have a place to sit it. Its a 285. Which my friend got me a good deal on. I have looked it over and over. All the seams look fine. I pray it was made right.

Both companies are located in AZ but Titan's mailing address goes to a residential address which is odd for a decent sized business?

I have a 90G qtr round tenecor that I got free when my former defunct hedge fund comapny moved offices and it's been over 5 years and still good. *knocks on wood*

Mike that tank looks amazing !! Looks way better than that Tenecor you got..
