  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Yeah those are nice guppies, thought you were gonna try to bred for feeders but those pets for sure lol. Good luck, I'll keep watching to see how you do lol. Might be looking for a guppy in a few months tbh.

Also I need some plants for my 55gal so the baby guppies can hide and I'm having a hard time locating some good plants for a good price, so if anybody has any, shoot me a message and I'm sure we can work something out.

Thanks

Great Idea! Just make sure to diversify your stock. Most commercial Guppies are overbred, and have weakened immune systems, etc. So Just try to add to your collection from as many different sources as possible. If I were you, I would use the 5 gallon for a Quarantine tank. One fish can turn that 55 into a total lost. keep an insurance policy. QT. all of your fish before you add to the main tank. And from here on out, try not to buy anything less than a 20 gallon. You can run a 20 for the same price as a 5. Plus it's more cost effective and more stable for fish. I wish you the best! And stick with it. It will pay off. Check into breeding Endlers also. there seems to be a growing demand. And they go for decent prices. Pure ones that is.

I was looking at endler's as well.. Very cool interesting fish. I will try and add some new blood lines every 3-4 generations to avoid inbreeding. I'm just going to start with one color and try my hand at that. I'm going for the Black ones...If you didn't already go on page three and click the link I posted...Nice fish. I hope i can hook some of you guys up.

I breed African cichlids. My advice is to grow out a colony of demasoni. You will have no problem selling them.

I like your ambition. We need more young entrepreneur's in this country like yourself. Sounds like you got a plan. Stick to it and don't let anyone tell you you can't. Only trial and error will lead you to your goal. Good luck wish you all the success!

Thank your for you kind words. I appreciate them a lot.

Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't Demasoni mouth brooders? Don't the parents eat the fry?

They do not eat the fry. They incubate the eggs in their mouths. They will eventually spit them out and let them fend for themselves.
