Thank You MFK!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Its a pretty good community for sure! Infractions are just part of the forum experience. You either learn by your mistakes or get the boot. End of story. Sometimes its worth the infraction.......I mean you should not break forum rules...I myself dont get on many other aquarium forums. Everything you need is right here!

I totally agree with this.

LOL Joe. i know we havent seen eye to eye on some things in the past but this is one that we do. ive been banned from that site for 6 mths for questioning certain practices, being friends with greg meceli and saying nice things about the fish he brings in. so yes mhill90 welcome back, feel free to have your own opinion.
Disagreement on a forum is sometimes good as long as people keep it civil and respectful. But for a site owner to treat one of his members like that is pathetic. The poor girl asked a simple question and got crucified and ridiculed.

Yeah I'm down to here and cichlid-forum.com, but I find that MFK is usually not only a better forum with better advice, but that I get responses quicker here too. Great community

MFK is a great community... 99% of the people here are willing to help each other out... and always can find great advice when needed...

100%MFK I never even go to any other fish keeping forums.

While I would love for this to be the way to go for me.. it's just not possible.

I have koi fish, and although I have asked about adding a koi section here, it doesn't look like something that's going to happen, and well, koi happen to be the catalyst for my love of this hobby. I would be lost with out other koi enthusiasts. If all else failed, and I could only keep 1 kind of fish, it would be koi. I think they should have a section here.. after all, they are MONSTERS! I am actually a registered KHA (Koi Health Advisor), and I have already put together several koi keeping/health books- in which I one day hope to publish as an "everything you need to know about koi" type book. However, it's currently 4 2" binders thick. haha.

Not to mention another fish not commonly talked about is bettas, and I've recently found a new love for them as well.
