Aquanero i like all your answer you even help me by the way can you tell what size they bcome adult please.

my water ph is 6.2 i used only RO water it is obligatory to breed them in a other tank

Thank you. I'm not sure exactly what you're asking me. Do you want to know at what size will Discus will be mature enough to breed? That would depend on a lot of factors, size alone is not a good indacator. The straine and or species involved, overall health, age of the fish and environment would all have an impact on this. Sorry no real strightfoward answer here.

theyre consider adults pass 5 inch or so after 1 year they should already be interested in breeding if you have a pair that is

It is not size that determines an adult it is age...a year old stunted 3" discus is still an adult. They can breed as early as a year...most will reach their max size at 2 years.

a healthy one should be Atleast 5-6 inch by 1 year I have a panda from Kenny that went from 2.5" to 4" in roughly 2 months

Maybe they aren't wild then? They are probably tank raised now that I think about it. My lfs sell some that look pretty good for$20. So what if I have some tank raised fish that have been kept in r o water? Would they switch to tap water easily? Giving the fact that the tap water was clean and healthy water my other fish are doing well in?

wow $20 that is a steal of a deal!!!. i would assume if the owner told you that he did infact acclimate them to regular tap water then i would beleive it, he clearly loves his fish to put the effort into discus so i would think he would be honest with you right?

could be from the pic but it looks a bit weird? maybe stunted? not 100% sure can someone confirm if they are? anyways the black freckles are most diffinitely peppering. also not 100% sure but i dont think those are wilds.
