never really tryed that might have to ask someone else im still new at hobby but i think it would only help freshwater fish boost immunity cuz they dont want salt so only the slimcoat would really either be damaged or could be put into creating more of it probably more stressful on the fish cuz there not used to salt in water
wow did u freak? i would have lmao.. the con is hard of seeing and the dempsey is more bothered by the con so i think (for now) they r safeum one question tho, if they r nipping at each other should i be worried about their fins? or are they used to it lol
Nah, they were there as dithers. That's always a gamble when putting them in with cichlids.
Salt will work, but make sure it won't bother your tetras. I have had 4 that it didn't, but some species are different when it comes to salinity in the water. Some can or can't tolerate it.

I had 2 female convict siblings lay and guard eggs. I have 4 female Convict x Cutteri that lay eggs and guard them. They're by far some of the most interesting fish I have in the tank. Tough, hyper and confused lol
