It is kind of hard to respect anyone who resorts to name calling to defend their positions. If it's because of the cost and time involved just say so, I understand completely. It's unfortunate but a very real issue best left to the professionals. I don't know what you allude to with the calling you part, I've been busy working on my "scientifically terminologies" and haven't been on much.

Your perception is twisted and I think your upset because a hobbyist not your so call professional (Which Im sure your trying to be) discovered this fish for the hobby... keep studying science boy and maybe, just maybe you will be able to do something helpful for this hobby! UMBEEPOWERRRR! MFK POWERRRR!!!!

You guys are all nuts. Is anyone else perplexed by this thread?

Not sure why the mods re-opened this thread, it's entertaining though. I pretty much drew the same conclusions as RD. with the situation and moved on. Regardless I'd rather them be in the hobby than not, and if I wanted to keep umbee I know I'd want the black strain from Chris. Hopefully you guys can come to a resolution to it all, it's MLK day after all. ;)

I can see the real debate here, but no one wants to focus on it.

And for those that has lost focus on the debate, it's whether a hobbyist, who collects his own fish, can make claim to a new variant/subspecies and sell it as such?

But this thread has past that debate and I don't think that some of people on this thread are mature enough to handle this debate without resorting to personal attacks.
