Hi guys! haven't been around all that much lately, but will be moving forward, as i was given a laptop for christmas! Anyways, over the holidays, i've lost some fish, sold some fish, traded some fish, and alas bought some fish:naughty:! So, my current stock, and filtration is as follows:

Fish

2x Oscars- 9&10"
1x Peruvian Severum- 7"
1x Chocolate Cichlid- 9"
1x DoviiXRed Tiger Motaguense-9"
1x Vieja sp.?- 12"+
1x Vieja Argentea- 4"
1x Crenicichla sp.?- 4"
1x "Psychotic" ID Shark- 12"(soon to be re-homed to a 300 gallon tub with other ID sharks from 6"-30")
1x Paratilapia Bleekeri/Polleni?- 6"
1x Pineapple pleco- 6"
1x Umbee- 2"+(will stay in the tank until something drastic occurs)
Growing out- 1x Irwini Catfish- 3"+

Filtration

2x Jebo 839
1x AC110
2x Fluval 200 GPH power heads
*Currently saving up for an FX5, and possible DIY sump

So, am i overstocked? Understocked? opinions? If overstocked, which fish would you get rid of? If understocked which fish would you add?

*note, i can't predict the future, but upgrading is always a possibility.

Overstocked. If all of those fish remain in that tank when they mature, there will not be enough room. You will need a sump or a fx5 soon. If the PT is a bleekeri, you will have aggression problems. Your 300 tub won't be enough for the ID shark either eventually as I'm sure you know. If you show a pic of your unknown Vieja I can try to identify it.

As i mentioned earlier, i am saving up for a FX5, and should be purchasing one within the next couple of weeks. As for it being overstocked when the fish mature, i know it possibly could be, but any fish that severely injure anther, and who can't be trusted will be traded/sold, thus said i'm quite aware that i will be having to sell/trade the DoviixRed Tiger Motaguense, Umbee, Vieja Argentea, and possibly the Paratilapia Bleekeri. Time will tell.

Honestly it's a toss up with all those fish. I have an 8" argentea right now mixed in with a bunch of viejas and ca Cichlid and they are peaceful 95% of the time with the occasional chase and nip. I've also had an 18.5" male dovii in with 6-8" cichla and he wouldn't touch them even during feeding time. Unfortunately it's nothing u can predict each fish is somewhat different
