well that 12.27lber was a new pb, id really like to beat it again. Some of gills weve got a close to 7 or 8 inches. they were meant for big blues but ill settle for a hungry flathead. I would just hate to get another personal best sooo soon.

you should have stopped and fished on the potomac. If you had caught one of them snakeheads youd have forgotten all about those silly bass. Did you take 95 all the way from Jersey?
Came from gainsville, VA so I belive it was rt 66 to 495 then 95 to 295 then the nj turnpike....
ok you missed me by alittle bit. Im about 45 mins from baltimore, via 95 and the exits and such. Look up fort washington next time your in DC or mattawoman creek. Plenty of bass fishing there.

Getting up in a few hours to fish the tournament. Just got back from the Captains meeting which I think was a ploy to get as many anglers drunk as possible so they sleep in. But anyhow there are over a hundred and seventy five anglers including several guides so the competition is going to be tough. Ive decided to fish the inshore slam division where first place takes home a brand new Hobie Outback. Funny thing is, Ive never caught an inshore slam but then again Ive never attempted to. However I know how and where to target each species so I have a chance.
