went out to the pier tonight, got two 7lb channels and a 5lber. Left them biting because i had to finish my paper tonight. also brought home another dozen bluegills my buddy caught for me.
Strange weather today. With a whole week of sunny and high 70s, today it rained out of no where. Didn't do so well but managed to get this fella. 2-3 lbs baby

So dad just called the potomac trip saturday. he isnt interested in fishing in the rain. bummer
well, technically the boat is in both of our names but we have a few problems.
1. It's also his truck, which he lets noone drive.
2. I've never pulled a trailor before, driving 2 hours probably isnt a good place to start.
3. No boating license, im comfortable operating the boat but water police would disagree.
most importantly, its something we do together. theres been a few times ive cancelled on him for one thing or another. Not a big deal, we may stay local if the rain gives us a break. Would hate for my bluegills to get stale.

Hate for bait to go to waste! Thats the worst. I've got a fair amount in my bait tank too but its been too cold for flats. I didn't realize you needed a boating license over there. Here, all you need is a drivers license and you're good to go. Sounds like you need to invest in a truck
