Which potamotrygon are in highest demand?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
For me this has"nothing" to do with species!
The bottom line is people will always pay more for a quality example of "any" Stingray, be it black or brown, it really is that simple! We all want to better ourselves in life and for many people that is having the nicest pets, the thing that is governing what people pay for their rays\pets right now is this recession we all find ourselves in, some people are struggling to feed "themselves" at the moment let alone their pets!!

If people don't rush into things and buy what they like at the start they should never need to better themselves

We both know people that are never happy with what they have and they run around buying and selling to find the perfect ray but at the end of the day and 20 rays later the 1st rays they had were probably the best

I'm a firm believer in buying what you like and sticking with it

As for better examples you just can't tell what a young ray will turn out like sand the parents are no guarantee

I too am a firm believer in sticking with your original choice of ray, as you know I have been a massive fan of both Marbles and Pearls for many many years, indeed I have rays in my collection that are in their 16 th year and are still producing young healthy offspring.

During that time I have produced many quality Marbles from this pair, not all were show stoppers but 90% of them were and still are. There are no guarantee's in life full stop!! But just as an example, when you go to buy a puppy of any breed of dog what is the first thing you ask to see......with me its the parents! this is as good a guarantee as you are ever likely to get,if they don't measure up you walk away, if however they look outstanding you pays your money with a good heart and away you go!
You get my drift?

funny you should mention dogs as even if you see the parants thats no garantee

if it was everyone would be walking around with best of breed show winners if they buy from a certain pairing and no one would win a dog show as they would all be clones

my point is you always get runts and do you charge a different price for the runt than you do for any of your other rays from the same litter or are they all priced the same

my rays are all priced at rock bottom to sell prices if someone gets a show stopper lucky them if they get the runt then the price is still very fair for that runt

a good dog breeder will NEVER sell a puppy as a show winner they sell it with show potential and all puppys in the litter are priced the same but as with rays some do charge more for females

they sell the puppy with show potential because if that puppy doesnt turn out to be a show winner they dont have any come backs

if you sell one of you pups as a 5 star or what ever name you want to call it doesnt turn into a 5 star the buyer can rip you to bites

some pups i have sold look like p14 galaxy or what ever name but i have NEVER sold a ray with a flash name just to boost sales as you cant garantee it as it may look like a flash name when small with loads of spots but as the ray grows and the spots spread they look like my rays i think the term you used was normal

You need to read and absorb T1 karmann. I did say there were no guarantee's .....this is a big problem of yours that has been highlighted many times by members on here in the past.
Its about time you changed the record also.....its really boring now!

Maybe if you read my 1st post about us both knowing people who buy and sell when they were not happy with rays they purchased and grew on you would have known who I was talking about

Do you think he hadn't seen the parents before driving god knows how many miles to pick up rays

Broken record this is the new age most people have iPods now they don't jump as much as a old stylus
