I really hope soo I just wish what kind of kitten I was thinking short haired for al obvious reason not too much shedding but those are the ones she loves unless they look like tigers panthers leapoards??

so get a darker color, short hair. maybe even a female. Being different helps not to remind us of the lost pet & be sad, not expect it to 'live up to' how the other one was, or be disappointed bcuz they are all diff personalities.
and the best trick of all, is to present it as being rescued from some awful situation so she doesn't feel guilty for trying to replace her old friend, but the poor thing has no one else to take care of it.

Do you think it's better if I go Sunday morning really early pick up a kitten and put it next to her so wen she wakes up she sees her,or tell her I need to go pick up some stuff for my friends cat and wen we get there let her choose one?hmm

ummm, depends on whether or not if SHE is picking it out, she might feel like she is choosing to replace her old cat.

ya, but he said she doesn't like ones that look like "tigers" etc.. and bengals are pretty striped.
they are super high energy and behaviorally high maintenance. not everyone can live with them.
