Peter, I'd definitely worm them. Move out the Geos and give them a week or two to rest from the shipping stress, then give them a round of Prazi for flatworms. If they don't pack on weight after a month or so, you can consider metro and/or levamisole treatments. They may just be really thin because they didn't eat well after capture and being moved around a lot, but it's still something to keep an eye on.

The great news is that they appear to have good appetites. Always a positive sign.

Thanks for the advice! I'm worried too that they look so thin. I have some metro and will mix it with food once they settle down a bit. They pick on pellets but don't like them. I have some freeze dried black worms that I can soak in metro solution.

Also have a can of "New Life Spectrum - Thera + Non Medicated Anti Parasitic Formula". Not sure if it would be helpful but probably better than nothing.

The added garlic in the thera acidifies the stomach, parasites don't like that. I start all my new aquisitions on it, Chris cchhcc turned me on to that and it seems to help for sure. However if they have a heavy infestation Prazi seems to work well and is pretty mild.

The Thera-A can be helpful, it contains quite a bit of garlic which is naturally antimicrobial as well as a natural appetite stimulant. I wouldn't trust the Thera-A to de-worm the fish though. Have you tried putting the pellets in with the bloodworms a minute or two before adding them to the tank? I've found that helps, as the pellets pick up the scent of the bloodworms and soften a little.

I gave them a little bit just now and they took it. I guess it tastes better than the other pellets because of the garlic, lol. Jamie - I do that with flakes for my wild discus. I hope the Uaru will be easier to convert!

Uaru are usually really easy when it comes to food. They basically eat anything and everything, but amphiacanthoides and fernandezyepezi. They probably just need more time to settle in first.
