Hi

My hybrid ray have small brownish lumps on his body. The lumps are acctually forming a nearly cymetrical circle around the disc. There is also a cluster of smaller ones around one of the eyes.

He have looked like this since I got him 1.5 months ago (they have not gotten more or less). The ray is eating and is active.

Is this external parasites, or some kind of birthmarks?

Kindly ask for advise.

Thanks!

Thee was a post on here not to long ago with something similar. Don't remember what it was and is was not as much. Just a few spots. Someone should be along shortly with more answers.
Do the spots ever seem to move under the skin?

thats crazy, my female motoro has the exact same thing, she acts the same, which is really active and eats normally. i would like to find out what this is

i know its not birthmarks because they just recently popped up on my pregnant motoro

In my case I can say for sure that they have been there since I first got him, they are not moving and are not getting more or less. The funny thing is that they form a nearly perfect circle around the disc, this makes me think that it may not be any external parasites, but I really dont know. I would really like to help him if he is sick.

Never seen, interesting
