On a side note I can see where having a large tank like this is interesting. Any time something goes wrong (dead fish that ALWAYS die buried down under rock) the only way to get to them is go for a dive

Malawi...really? That tank is going to look absolutely sick full of brightly colored cichlids...can't wait to see how it turns out.
I think so as well, have always loved malawi cichlids. Unfortunately it will be a while, I need to let the ich die out in the tank and I've read anywhere from 10 days to 72 days is how long you need to let it sit idle with no fish while the ich goes through it's life cycle.
It's a Cyathopharynx Faoi Moliro, a featherfin from lake tanganyika, one of my favorite fishWhat fish is it in your avater? Looks gorgeous.
Trying to, raising the temp in 600 gallons of water is taking a while, it's at 78 atm so maybe 2 or 3 weeks at this temp? Thanks for the advice!Higher temp and the Ich cycles faster, only takes about a week, turn the temp up to 86 degrees. Will be good to go.
Nicely den.....I mean done.
Looks great
