i am just across the river to the west;) i don't know this group will be a great jump start for my gar breeding trial plans. i know it is a far thing, but i will be doing that at some point. i have a line on the hormones if it comes down to that, but i am going to go the pond way first.

i got 50-75 fry from my lfs and another 50 mix 20% male to 80% female to include many preg females already to help the fry being a constant flow. i was hoping the smallest would be able to get some newborn guppy fry. that goal is lost now, but the mass fry production is still a must. the lsf i go to has 1000's of guppys and they all produce fry daily. i am looking for glass worms and mosquito larva all the time. i have even kicked around live black worms and the brine shrimp hatchery.
do you have mosquito around our house? if you have then live a bucket of water out and they will breed in their, that is what I do to get the larvae!

Awesome babies bro! The pics are too hard to id then

yes, if they are eating the guppy fry and you have a good supply stick with that...their growth is practically exponentially greater with fish prey than with mosquito and other invertebrate prey at that stage--

If their tummys are big and the guppies are vanishing I wouldn't worry.. my lil FL just lurks in the top weeds when he sees anyone still.. but hes chunky, and the feeders dwindle fast! lol
