Not a whisper about the ACA?

I'm thinking about checking it out today. Is there a fee to get in? I checked the website and didn't see anything regarding an entrance fee...?
 
Fees are only for the speeches and stuff like that.

You can get into the room where people are selling stuff and into the show fish room for free.

In hindsight, I should have entered my nandopsis haitiensis.
 
You're right I didn't hear a word about it this year. I didn't even realize it was this weekend and have no idea even where it's being held. I guess it wasn't marketed as well as last years.
 
Thanks seedubs1. I actually just got back from there... I agree with you, although this was my first ACA event I expected it to be much larger. Not a very large selection of cichlids IMO... Maybe there were more Thursday and Friday?
 
I just got done at the aca picked up some bartoni,super red sevrums, rasberry red sevrum from pat durkin, and some a. hetorospillious

Yeah, I was hoping to have a lot more to choose from. Kind of disappointed that there was only one tank of grammodes, one tank of lyonsi, and no haitiensis at all.

But the grammodes I did get have a lot of color and are eating a ton already.

Also, I was expecting a bit better prices in some cases. $20 for argentea juvies was a bit steep.

I look forward to seeing some pics of the show fish. I really wish they wouldn't have kicked us out immediately.

Does anyone pay any attention to those? I just had to go back and look and yeah, there is an ad for it. Never even noticed it until you mentioned it. It's become so ingrained to ignore advertisements on here as they bombard you continually.
