No I ment he has at least 10 posts where he insults those who disagree with him. Knowing that Im short 6 posts on the previous page, I think 10 is a vastly low number.

Ahhh, I don't use the app. The little I did use of it I didn't care for it, so I deleted it. I just use the desktop view.

The problems IMO is punishing students that had nothing to do with it. Many students(80) will not get a scolarship they may have in the past, plus since the athletics can move they then displace students at that schools athletics program, further screwing other students. These sanctions are over reaching and overly harsh. I agree with the fine but the rest is junk.

You're right, most will have to stick it out this year then transfer next year as most teams are set. However, they could go to a lesser school for a year then transfer.

They're lucky they can transfer in conference. In USC's case they could not. Part of why i don't care is USC was way too harshly punished so it's nice to see an east coast team get the hammer. Was starting to believe the east coast big program bias......


Truth is, none of this gave the team a competitive advantage. Should have gave them a one year death penalty for the administrators screwing up or 2 year bowl ban plus fine and moved on.

It's an ivy league school so don't care about the rest of the student body

The only thing that matters are the victims in this circus. What is the college experiance anyway?4 years and then see if you can find a job to support yourself. That is when reality will begin. The horror of what happened to these victims will be with them the rest of thier lives. Dump the football program close the school who cares? Just set an example to show the consequences of an administration that would let kids suffer at the hands of a monster. Why not put the statue of Paterno in Sanduskys cell till the creep croaks.

Not an Ivy League school, its a good school but not even close. University of Pennsylvania (UPenn) is an Ivy League school, not Penn State.

Ivy League actually refers to an ooooold football league that many of the "top" schools of today used to be a part of (Princeton, Harvard, Yale, etc..) and that's why the term "Ivy League" has become synonymous with "Top School" but no new schools can "join" their ranks.

i still say a one year death penalty would've been cleaner then what they've done. they wanted the school to lose and lose for a long time

Id support this. The punishment was a puffing of chest that is resulting in wins earned by the players being whipped out, 80 students not getting a scolarship and multitudes of others being displaced.

I don't have an issue with the current fines(such as no bowl games), but trying to erase history is stupid, not to mention it takes away the wins from the players.

I don't come here everyday. I don't have an issue with the statue being torn down. Why was there one to begin with? I think people over worship others too much as it is.

Sure, say someone did great things...miss them when they are gone...but a statue?

And the only reason the NCAA puffed their chest was because of the media hysteria created after the Louis Freeh statement was released. So they figure they better do something dramatic.
Again, fine the crap out of the university, fire all involved, smear Paternos name all through the mud and melt his statue down, I dont care. But dont destroy the students futures and lives for something they had nothing to do with.
I too would support a one year death penalty.

However I agree, yea the Death penalty should have been used...I do understand why it wasnt, simply because of the local businesses would suffer greatly

Just like the statue, his name at the TOP of the Winningest Coach list HAD to be removed since these thing occured during those years.


Honestly though, I would have loved to see it burn to the ground.
