Well my BGGGJDs are at it again!!:D
I found a new nest in my BGGG community tank.

Last time, I moved the nest, And the two I believed to be parents
to a breeding tank. A day after they hatched, I never saw them again.
I don't know if they died, Or they were just eaten.

This time, I moved just the nest, To a small tank on my desk.
Along with a heater set at 78-79 degrees, and a fine airstone.
I took pictures before adding a light fungicide.

The Dempsey parents are still a lot younger than I would prefer.
But I'll keep you posted if they hatch or not.

I'm curious myself. And here are a couple of shot of the newly hatched fry. :nilly:
Once they become free swimmers, I'll move them to a grow out tank.

The fry are absorbing there yoke sacks. And a lot of them are venturing out along the bottom.
But some of them are kind of stuck together with a strand like substance. I guess that's where
the parents play a big part. So far, I have not had to remove very many dead ones. But this
sticky substance worries me. We have given them some light feedings yesterday and today.
