FISHING SEASON 2K12!!!!!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Well Im back from France,we where supposed to go to france for 3weeks.
But after the first week we got a phonecall that my grandpa was dying,so we hurried back to Holland.
Trip back home was horrible, while my dad took the train back to be home early.
My brother in law was driving our slow driving camper back home and my 13year older sister was driving me home in the bmw.
My sister and grandpa have been very close in the past so she was really emotional in the circumstances.
When we arrived he was still alive but onconscious,he died yesterday at the age of 89.
My grandma has dementia so she doesn't really realise what has happend and is still searching for her husband and cries everytimes she hears he passed away. It is heartbreaking to watch her and realise that this wil go on for the rest of her life.
Although my grandpa wasn't a fishermen,he always admired my hobby and had one of the first things he always asked me was how the fishing has been. I'm gonna mis him real bad.

Sorry for your loss man

I'm gonna be using my Shakespeare medium action rod I just got for a steal. With 10 pound test and an old reel I had lying around. This is just for the fun of it to see how it performs. Gonna be mainly using my Mitchell light action also 10 pound test I threw on because my 8 pound was screwed up. Gonna try out some Canadian nightcrawlers on the Shakespeare while using some lures and spinners on the Mitchell. Gonna pick up an Abu Garcia next week. Any recommendations on what I should use on the Shakespeare? I was thinking just casting out about 50 feet and just letting it sit for as long as I can. I'm gonna tally every fish I catch tommorow and aim for 100 maybe 150 depending on how the day goes. Gonna take pics of all my catches as well. Not gonna post all though.

I just came back in now for lunch. I caught about 8 small sunnies and a little tiny what I believe was a yellow perch. I really wish my phone had more space for pictures. Gonna clear up some space and take pictures of the next fish I catch that are good. Biggest so far was about 7". Hoping for some bigger ones.

The hook up ratio on the spro frog are pretty bad (the jr. frog is ok). Try Live target or Strike king KVD sexy frog instead.

Okay I hit my goal marker! Today from about 11am-7pm I caught 114 fish in total. Tommorow I'm heading out on a 10 foot bass boat as soon as I wake up and gonna stay as long as possible out on the water. Got some cool fish today. Mostly longear sunfish and bluegill. Caught a small .5 pound 11" bass sorry no pics my phone died. I was counting the fish with rocks lmao every fish I caught a rock went into the bag for it. I counted them all at the end for a total of 114! Tommorow will be way better. As ill be on the water. Wish me luck

Northern Kingfish, also called whiting. They are delicious, with the mild white flaky flesh on them.

Went out on the boat and got a couple good sized bass 1.5-2.5 pounds.

There was a way bigger one but he jumped off my line he was easily 4 1/2 pounds! I was about 2 feet away from the boat and he came up and popped out of the water and in the process taking the hook out. I looked at the pictures with the fish in my hands and it looked about half the size. The one was easily 2 pounds not sure which one though out of the pics.
