Is it a trimac?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Tomatoes are still tomatoes. Doesn't matter where the tomatoes came from..

Lots of you are looking for things that can't be seen and not seeing what's in front of your eyes..

lol the fish is apparently a Trimac.. Just your mental playing tricks on you.. Telling you it's a dog or something Idk.. :screwy:

I think lots of you guys should be keeping blood cells instead of ornamental fishes.

Is that better?
never seen a Trimac with pearls at the face b4. But that's the only thing off from what Im used to.. But that doesnt make it a FH. Still what it is.. A Trimac.. Even if it wasnt pure all the way down to every blood cell and dna. It is a still a beautiful fish that appears to be a totally Trimac.. Why can't we appreciate more of the fish and less of the invisible nonsense..

A pretty fish is a pretty fish. Why should it suddenly become trash just because of your own insecurity? Being anal and narrow minded will keep u unsatisfied..

And the world does evolve. So don't think everything stays the same till the end of time

Animal, I think the op was just messing around. He knows it's a pure Trimac. Most of the patterns on his are on mine as well. In good light the iridescent blue around the black marks really stands out.

A tangerine looks like an orange and a nectarine looks like peach but they’re not.

Now if someone wants to keep a fish with no intention of breeding it, I personally couldn’t care less what they call it.

If someone wants to breed fish that have, as of late become suspect or their validity questioned do to hybridization i.e. Trimacs among others within the Midas complex as an example then providence back to the wild becomes important to preserve pure blood lines. Weather the fish in question is or isn't a Trimac I don’t see that as a difficult concept to grasp.

Maybe not the best example considering tomatoes are quite possibly the most genetically modified fruit in existance.

Ok, time to put this to rest, yes the fish is from Rapps and I have no doubts about it being "pure."
I have two of her sisters from the same spawn, one has a lot of flowers like her but isn't as colored up because she's not the dominant fish and one is a typical looking three spot trimac.

Thanks for everyone who replied, some useful insight and good points. :D I would never think I could just look at a fish and be able to tell if it was "pure."
