My upgrade is finally due on Jan 1st, I've had Sprint the last 2 years and will be sticking with them, my current phone is a HTC EVO 4G, and I love it!

Necessities:
Large touch screen
Fast
Good camera with flash
Decent battery life
Good for media

Any recommendations?

Thanks a lot!

I recommend the S3 ...
ticks all the boxes

my wife has i5 which is even faster mad has a brighter screen.... but it's still too small .

so if you don't mind the size of the Samsung... then I highly recommend

The g3 is nice but I like iPhone 5 better size personal preference. The windows phone looks great n nice operating system.
Retina display plus best camera plus best apps iPhone

I recommend anything samsung. The S3 is nice, if you want a huge phone the note 2 is nice. I also recommend nothing by apple. Go ahead and hate people but thats how I feel

agree the i5 is a great phone. super fast and the retina display is better than Samsung amoled screen(only just) but it's just too small.

The s2 has same software and hardware, what's the difference? I know the screen is like .4" bigger but i can get the s2 for free and the s3 is 200$, is there a justifiable improvement for the money? If so I'm down cuz I love the screen on that!

Yeah I've never liked Apple, but it has some cool features, its built like a tank but the memory is not expandable! And the screen isn't that big!

I have an ip5 no complaints but to be honest the best spec'd phone out there has got to be the note 2. If you're not afraid to have a phone that large it's really an awesome phone. Huge screen, nice camera, and jelly bean (newest android software) already loaded on. It's really by preference too because whether you get an iPhone, a gs3, or a note, you're going to be happy

I had iPhone for 3 years before getting the S3...
never had android so the change was welcome...

I did see and test the S2 soon after and surprisingly it is almost exactly the same as S3 only smaller.
so for existing S2 user ... I'm not sure if the S3 is the best upgrade... unless you need the bigger screen.

y ou should be able to get the S3 free on a conttract

For Sprint its 200$ with a 2 year. S2 is free.

But I'm still wondering about the new HTC's, I love my current HTC, its solid and has lasted 2 years and still runs as good as the day I first turned it on!
