My Red Devil killed my smaller Tiger Oscar :(

I have a 55 gallon with a RD and a male and female JD
My female is pretty small(2in) but my male is about 4inches
My RD is biggest at 4.5 inches and constantly fights my male JD
Even though they both have established opposite sides of the tank as territories
My RD seems to come off worst in the constant battles, but keeps on initiating the fights
Why

I've seen a pair of 10"+ oscars getting punked and held to a corner of a tank by a much smaller 5" male jag. Not surprised yours was killed by a RD. Good to see that you got them a different tank.
 
I'm constantly rehoming fish because my oscar is such a wimp. Oscars in general are not very tough, and can't hang with most centrals of equal size. The only reason I rehome the others is because Im very attached to my oscar his size is just so imposing. Otherwise I would've kept my jd, midas, tilapia, etc etc. But they all were beating my oscar so off they went
