How did you put it all together?
if you use a large drill bit can just make as many holes as you want.my 300 watt heater fit in the 1 and 1/2 inch diameter pvc,you can buy a long length,4 ft or more is cheap.then cut it with a small hand saw.i bought some other pvc pieces that have pre-cut holes,bends,Y-shape

So you didn't cut in half and silicone it? How is it attached? Suction cups?

Here is a diagram on how I glued a cut PVC to the corner of the tank on the two edges touching the glass. You need to drain the tank and let it dry for 2 days for the glue to cure. The diameter of the PVC is 3/4 inch, slightly smaller than my Ebo heater and since PVC is flexible, it wiill clip tight the heater. The other poster use the entire PVC pipe to shield the heater. I only glued a 2 inch length PVC to anchor the heater, not to shield it, and it is so tight that you need a 2 lb fish to break it. I use GE silicone II, not aquarium grade, and don't worry about the toxiciy as the amount use is so tiny.

I run an FX5 and I have two of the 300 watt Hydors in line. I simply changed the OEM hose out to Vinyl tubing got some PVC fittings and barbed fittings and made it work. With two heaters plumbed in on the one line you dont loose any of the flow on the FX5. I run this on a 210g.

Wow, Idk if I asked about running two on one but I've thought of it. Is running two on one line much diffrent than just one? I guess if its keeping a 210 one or two would keep a 125 heated. Do you have any pics or tips on installing the heater on the filter?
