Best arowana food!

Yup, got her at 1.5" so training her to eat pellets or defrosted seafood was no problem :)

feed her NLS floating or Kikari floating sticks.
If she is used to pellets you can even serve sinking ones. They pick everything up from the bottom.
 
I've tried massivore and NLS already... Just always like to try new things...

Her main diet consists of things like clams, mussels or shrimp... Pellets are more for when im in a rush and dont have time to defrost her food or as a snack...

Not the best method, imho, not even speaking about the toll on water quality.
if it takes pelletes, stick to it. It needs nothing more. I have 2 footers, wide as my hand, with only pelletes from the onset.

Take care with shrimp. I have seem many a big aro as well as some CK die on frozen shrimp, due to low quality of same and also due to the spikes on their heads which can cut a stomach.

Believe me. Been there, done that. ( for more than 20 years with all kinds of Aro )
 
^ sorry for the confusion, but i'm not talking about an aro, i was talking about my fahaka puffer :)
