Always use 2 heaters in case one fails. I always use larger heaters. I would do 2 300 watt heaters.

What brand would you reccomend, also is there a cheap temperature probe type system I could get? That way I could control the temp like a thermostat? Sorry I dont really know what the correct term is :\

I got a few sunsun 500w heaters for my 150 from amazon for really cheap about a year ago and they're still holding up fine. I only use one at a time and save the others for backup. I think they were only like $20 each. Lol
